The Hawks got into the win column with a 9-2 victory over the New Germany Dutchmen on Sunday. Jay Bresnahan went 3-6 with a home run to again lead the Hawks. Taz Seibert got the start and the win. Hayden Molva also got on the bump for his Hawks pitching debut and contributed solid innings.
On Friday night, The red hot Carver Black Sox dealt the Hawks a decisive 12-3 loss. Andy Schatz, the steady verteran righty, got the start and went four. Jay Bresenahan made his pitching debut for the Hawks, working four innings and looking impressive. Both Bresnahan and Clint Artz had big nights at the plate as the Hawks continue to hit the ball well.
