For two games this week, the Winsted Wildcats were the better team in all phases of the game and ended the Hawk season on Thursday night 6-0. The Hawks continued to hit the ball right at Wildcat fielders who played outstanding with the gloves the whole series. Jay Bresnahan took the loss working the first six innings. One bright spot was the relief pitching of Jake Hokenson who threw three scoreless innings. Jeff Hancock had two hits on the offensive end. In the end, no runs makes it very hard to win. The Hawks wish to thank their loyal fan base who continued to turn out in support. We also wish to thank all the volunteers who make a season possible. Go Hawks!
